MSI announces Geforce GTX 980 Ti Gaming graphics card

Custom Geforce GTX 980 Ti with Twin Frozr V cooler

Following Nvidia's official launch of the Geforce GTX 980 Ti graphics card based on the 28nm GM200 GPU, MSI has unveiled three different versions of the GTX 980 Ti graphics card, including the Geforce GTX 980 Ti Gaming with Twin Frozr V cooler and factory-overclock.

While MSI will have the GTX 980 Ti 6GD5 and the GTX 980 Ti 6GD5 V1 models, both based on reference 1000MHz base and 1076MHz GPU Boost clocks and with reference and some sort of Exhaust Fan cooler, it will also have a custom GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G version with Twin Frozr V cooler and factory overclock.

The MSI GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G will work at 1178MHz for the GPU base and 1279MHz for the GPU Boost clocks while the 6GB of GDDR5 memory paried up with a 384-bit memory interface will be working at 7100MHz. The same GTX 980 Ti Gaming 6G will also feature Military Class 4 components as well as a backplate, a part of the Twin Frozr V package.

Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability dates.
