It looks like Microsoft has changed the pricing of their Surface Pro tablets in Europe. Taking a quick look at their entry level offering we see that the price has been increased by 50 Euro and the largest difference can be found with the second most high-end model: 250 Euro.
It could actually very well be that these price corrections have something to do with the fact, that Euro has become weaker since the beginning of this year. Our colleagues from Computerbase are stating that one year ago one Euro was worth 1.37 US-Dollar and these days one Euro sells for 1.11 US-Dollar. This is actually a 23 percent difference, which would make for a substantial loss only due to decay of exchange rates.
Following you find a table listing recent pricing:

Intel Core i5, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB SSD | 999 € | 1'099 € |
