According to the newest report, Nvidia's rumored GTX 980 Ti graphics card will be based on the GM200-310 GPU.

According to a fresh report from Videocardz.com, the GTX 980 Ti graphics card will be similar, if not the same as the GTX Titan X graphics card and should be based on the same GPU. The GTX 980 Ti is expected to pack the same 3072 CUDA cores as the GTX Titan X, but be limited to 6GB of GDDR5 memory paired up with a 384-bit memory interface. It will also come with the same display output configuration, three DisplayPorts, HDMI and DVI-I outputs, and Nvidia partners will be able to make custom versions from day one.

The Nvidia GTX 980 Ti is expected to launch with a US $600 to $650 price tag and will replace the US $550 priced GTX 980, which is similar to what Nvidia did with the GTX 780 when GTX 780 Ti was launched. It is also possible that Nvidia will somewhat cut the price of the GTX 980, most likely down to US $499.

The precise launch date of the GTX 980 Ti is still unknown but some reports suggest that we could see it around Computex 2015 show in June, while others suggest that Nvidia decided to push it back further, trying to sell a bit more Titan X and GTX 980 graphics cards.
