Call of Duty: Black Ops III confirmed in a trailer
Full reveal coming on April 26th
Although there have been plenty of rumors regarding it, Activision has now officially confirmed the Black Ops III as the next title in its Call of Duty franchise.
While it did not reveal any details regarding the story, or anything else for that matter, Activision did note that the game is expectedly developed by Treyarch and has promised a full unveil for April 26th. The teaser, titled Back in Black, which has been released on an updated Call of Duty website also briefly mentions SOG operative Alex Mason.
Activision's Scott Lowe also noted that Treyarch has been working in shadows for the last three years and Black Ops II will be "the first title for next-gen hardware in the Black Ops series and puts players in "a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare."
Some website code also revealed that the game will have three game modes, Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies.
Unfortunately, there is not much to talk about as Activision is keeping all the juicy details for April 26th unveil so we will just have to wait a bit longer. Until then, you can enjoy the teaser below.
