Dell announces mainstream P2416D monitor

2560x1440 resolution with IPS panel

It appears that WQHD 2560x1440 resolution is finally going mainstream as Dell has announced its latest 24-inch P2416D monitor.

Based on a 23,8-inch IPS panel with 2560x1440 resolution, the new Dell P2416D covers 99 percent of sRGB palette with 8ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 of brightness and 178° horizontal and vertical viewing angles, the new Dell P2416D is quite a decent monitor for its price. It also comes with DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, VGA and four USB 2.0 ports for connectivity and even has tilt, swivel, pivot and height adjust stand.

Dell offers three year warranty on its P2416D monitor and it should be available in Asia Pacific and Europe regions by the end of April while US should get it in May with a price set at US $369.99. Currently, the Dell P2416D is listed in Europe with a price set at €399,90.
