ASUS working on all white GTX 970 Turbo

Custom PCB and blower fan

According to a fresh report, it appears that ASUS GTX 980 20th Anniversary Gold Edition will not be the only special edition Geforce graphics card coming from ASUS as the company is working on an all white GTX 970 as well.

Spotted by Videocardz.com, which suggest that this is not an April's Fool joke since ASUS shed some details regarding the new graphics card yesterday, it appears that ASUS is working on a custom GTX 970 graphics with a custom PCB and a blower fan cooler with all white shroud.

While there are still no precise details regarding the new ASUS GTX 970 graphics card, other than a picture which shows non-reference display output configuration, including two DVIs, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, it appears that this is a real deal and we should soon expect a custom all white GTX 970 Turbo from ASUS.

Nvidia's GTX 970 had a lot of problems and has a bad reputation due to false published specifications and the fact that the card comes with 3.5GB of fast and 0.5GB of slower memory, which draws some memory performance issues. Despite those issues, the GTX 970 is still a great value, mostly due to a lack of competition from AMD.
