Both the Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions of the Borderlands: The Handsome Collection have received quite a hefty day-one patch.

While Playstation 4 users have to download 8.31GB day one patch, the Xbox One gamers drew a shorter straw and have to download a total of 16GB day-one patch, 3GB of Borderlands 2 and 13GB of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. The developer has recommended that users download the patch before starting the game.

While it brings plenty of bug fixes, the large size of the day-one patch can be attributed to the fact that it includes both the Claptastic Voyage DLC and Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2.

The update should be included in the digital download version.
