ASRock announces 970M Pro3 micro-ATX motherboard

AMD socket AM3+ in micro-ATX form-factor

In addition to a well known Fatal1ty 970 Performance motherboard, ASRock has also announced the new 970M Pro3 motherboard, an AMD socket AM3+ micro-ATX motherboard.

Being one of the rare micro-ATX motherboard based on AMD's 970 chipset, the ASRock 970M Pro3 features support for AMD FX-series CPUs with TDP of up to 125W, excluding the FX-9000 series. It has a 5-phase VRM, includes one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot, one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (x4), one PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and single PCI slot.

The rest of the features and specifications include six SATA 6Gbps ports, 5.1-channel HD audio, Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 3.0 ports, plenty of USB 2.0 ports and all the other features expected from a sub US $100 motherboard.

What makes it interesting is that this is currently one of the rare socket AM3+ micro-ATX motherboards on the market and should have a rather affordable price. Currently, the ASRock 970M Pro3 is available in Europe with a lowest price set €67,39.
