Corsair has announced the availability of its previously announced Dominator Platinum Series DDR4 3400MHz 16GB memory kits aimed to be used with Gigabyte's X99-SOC Champion motherboard.
The new 4x4GB Dominator Platinum kit works at 3400MHz with 16-18-18-36 latencies and comes with orange anodized heatspreaders which perfectly matches the color scheme on Gigabyte's SOC series motherboards, including the X99-SOC Champion motherboard where this kit shows its performance.
The new Dominator Platinum kit also features Corsair's patented DHX technology for cooler operation, features user-swappable colored "light pipes" for customizable lighting as well as supports Corsair Link for real-time temperature monitoring. As it was the case with previous Dominator Platinum kits, this one also uses hand-screened ICs and undergoes rigorous performance testing.
The same kit was used by a well known overclocker Hicookie to
set the world record for fastest DDR4 memory frequency at 4365.6MHz, of course with LN2.
According to Corsair, the new Dominator Platinum DDR4 3400MHz 16GB memory kit should be already available with an MSRP of US $999.99 and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
