BitFenix has announced a newest addition to its micro-ATX PC case lineup, the Bitfenix Aegis. Featuring a rounded shield-inspired front and packing the ICON logo color display previously seen on the Pandora, the Aegis will be available in five different color choices and offer some decent cooling options.

As noted, the new Aegis is a new micro-ATX PC case from BitFenix which features a unique design with rounded front and will be available in black, white, red, blue and yellow color options. Built from steel alloy, polymer and acrylic materials, the dimensions of the Aegis are set at 255x461x467mm and it weighs 6.7kg. As expected, it supports micro-ATX and mini-ITX form-factor motherboards.




The main feature of the Aegis is the 2.8-inch 240x320 ICON display which was earlier seen on the Pandora PC case, and which allows you to display a custom case logo at the front. As far as the cooling is concerned, the Aegis has support for three 120mm or two 140mm fans at the top and front and two 120mm fans (one included) at the bottom, which also suggest that it supports both 360 and 240mm radiators at the front and top while 240mm radiator can be mounted at the bottom. All fan mounts also come with either click or magnetic dust filters and it even comes with a fan controller with four fan headers.

The BitFenix Aegis supports up to 170mm tall CPU cooler and up to 380mm long graphics card and has four 3.5-inch drive slots in two removable cages as well as four 2.5-inch drive slots in a single cage, motherboard and PSU mount.
