While both Samsung and HTC have scheduled their flagship smartphone launch events, it appears that LG will wait for April with its LG G4 smartphone, in order to avoid the direct clash with competitors and get a fair bit more coverage.
While Samsung and HTC have decided that Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona will be a good place to announced their new flagship smartphones, according to the latest report
coming from KoreaTimes, LG's upcoming flagship LG G4 smartphone will wait until April.
The main reason, according to sources close to the company, is that Samsung releases its flagship model in the first quarter each year while second quarter is usually reserved for Apple, so company need some "in-between time to make a bigger splash."
This decision does not come as a big surprise considering that LG unveiled its LG G3 smartphone back in May 28th last year, so April sounds like a good deal.
Unfortunately for LG, April will not be without competition as recent rumors suggest that Sony might have a similar idea and announce its Xperia Z4 smartphone in April as well.
