While Valve usually launches all its sales in summer or around holiday seasons, the new Mystery Midweek Sale, with over 40 titles and some rather impressive discounts, shows that Valve does not need a holiday to make gamers happy.

As noted, the new Steam sale is called the "Mystery Midweek Sale" and will last until tomorrow. It includes over 40 titles that have been discounted for as much as 75 percent.

While most of the games are not that interesting, there are some older but still good titles including Sam & Max: Season One and Two, Max Payne trilogy, Broken Sword, Alan Wake games, L.A. Noire, Gone Home and much more.
