Tt eSports, a well known division of Thermaltake, which is known for its high-end gaming peripherals, has announce the new version of its Poseidon Z gaming keyboard, the Poseidon Z Forged, which will feature an aluminum faceplate as well as an integrated DAC Audio Microcontroller Unit (MCU) and Advanced Instant Shift System (I.S.S.).

Tt eSports Poseidon Z Forged will be available with Tt certified blue and brown mechanical switches and is based on a standard 104 key layout with 10 additional programmable macro keys and five profiles for each of the normal and game mode, adding up to a total of 100 programmable macros that can be saved in 64KB of on-board memory and easily switched between using I.S.S. (Instant Shift System), which allows users to use Shift, Ctrl or Alt keys to quickly switch between macro groups.
As noted, the new Thermaltake Tt eSports Poseidon Z Forged features an aluminum faceplate, measures 503 × 156.2 × 43 mm and weighs 1,479g.
It provides all the usual gaming keyboard features including anti-ghosting keys, 1,000Hz polling rate, detachable wrist-rest, full blue LED backlight with with five levels of adjustable brightness, pause-break lighting effect and five different pre-configured lighting zones, detachable USB cable, dual USB port hub and keystroke life-cycle of 50 million.
What makes it stand out of the gaming keyboard crowd is the integrated DAC Audio Microcontroller Unit (MCU) with on-board audio jacks, which contains digital programmable gain amplifier with audio output quality of 48KHz/8Kz sampling rate and 16-bit PCM ADC at 8/16KHz for the microphone input.
The new Poseidon Z Forged should be available in March with a suggested price of US $139.99.
