Xbox One to Windows 10 streaming could go both ways

PC to Xbox streaming possible

While one of the most interesting news coming from recent Microsoft Windows 10 event was the fact that Xbox One app will be available on all PCs and tablets running on Windows 10 OS and will allow Xbox One exclusives to be streamed to any Windows 10 PC or tablet. Today, Microsoft's Phil Spencer revealed a bit more details suggesting that streaming could go both ways.

While a big part of the recent Microsoft Windows 10 event was about gaming on Windows 10, including details about DirectX 12, Xbox One app will be available on Windows 10, offering your friends lists, cross-platform gaming between PC and Xbox One and a lot of other details, including the fact that Xbox One exclusives can be streamed to any Windows 10 PC or tablet.

In a recent interview, which can be seen over at Gamespot.com, Microsoft's Phil Spencer revealed more details regarding streaming and the possibility that games can be streamed from the PC to Xbox One, which is a great idea considering that Xbox One is usually hooked up to a big-screen living room TV.

According to Phil Spencer, a lot of people asked that question and noted that "it's something that we're really looking at." He added that "If you think about that vision--my games are my games wherever I am, and I can play with whoever I want to play with--we want to be able to land solutions that are as native as the one we showed there. We just have to kind of work with the physics of time and work it through."

This is definitely a great idea and if all goes well with streaming and DirectX 12, Windows 10 OS could become a really important gaming platform and add a lot more appeal to Xbox One console.
