In the past the HydroCopper versions of EVGA graphics cards have been equipped with full-cover waterblocks, which you had to integrate into a custom watercooling loop. In the case of the new EVGA GeForce GTX 980 HydroCopper you now get a closed loop solution already coming with the graphics card.
Taking a closer look at the card, as well as the cooler, shows a metal baseplate, which establishes direct contact with the memory chips and the VRM area. Apart from that there is a radial fan to provide addition airflow. The GPU block itself appears to be coming from Asetek and so does the single radiator and tubing.
Unfortunately, there are no additional details on pricing so far. Nevertheless, we are quite sure that the official launch is not far off.
