Following the earlier release of the gaming mouse named Gladius, ASUS has brought two new gaming mouse additions to the CES 2015 show, the Spatha and the Sica.
With the earlier released Gladius gaming mouse, ASUS confirmed its Republic of Gamers focus on mice for gamers. During the CES 2015 show in Las Vegas, the company has expanded its lineup with two new gaming mice named Spatha and Sica.
The Spatha is the larger of the two and is dedicated to MMO gamers. The Spatha in its current state features 12 buttons, a laser sensor and will be bundled with a a magnetic recharging base, since it is a wireless gaming mouse. The Spatha will be obviously configurable via the ASUS ROG Armory software. According to current details provided by ASUS, the Spatha should arrive to the market in the second half of 2015, which will leave us some time to speak about it again.
The Sica is the smallest model in the range. It is an ambidextrous mouse focused on "Finger Grip". It is designed for MOBA gamers and is limited to three buttons, which will not prevent it to be configurable via same ROG Armory software. Unfortunately, there aren't many details regarding the Sica, except the presence of a backlight and the fact that ASUS declared it as an affordable mouse. Affordable and ROG usually do not go together so we will have to wait for more details to see which market segment is ASUS actually aiming at with Sica.
