Rockstar Games has have now launched a new trailer for upcoming next-gen Grand Theft Auto 5 game which confirms that the game will have a first-person view, but only for Playstation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
According to new reports and the trailer posted over at IGN.com, the FPS mode will feature assisted aim, free aim and semi-assisted aim with various variations on how you would actually use the first-person mode, like for example, for driving and targeting.
In an interview with IGN.com, animation director Rob Nelson noted that "We’ve always been in interested in it, but it’s never really been an option for us. I don’t think we could’ve put it in the [last-gen version] because we were too busy making the game. We were too busy working on our third-person controls and the missions."
He also noted that such mode was not possible on old consoles and that they had to fight with what can and what can not be included in the game.
In case you missed it earlier, the next-gen Grand Theft Auto 5 is schedule to launch on Playstation 4 and Xbox One on November 18, while the PC version is expected on January 27.
