In addition to the MSI X99S MPower motherboard launched earlier last week, MSI has now unveiled yet another motherboard based on Intel's X99 Express chipset and LGA2011V3 socket, the MSI X99S Gaming 9 ACK motherboard.
The new MSI X99S Gaming 9 ACK motherboard is pretty much an upgraded version of the X99S Gaming 9 AC motherboard as it features the Killer DoubleShot Pro feature, which lets you pair up the wired Killer E2205 Gigabit Ethernet with integrated Qualcomm's Killer 1525 WLAN, in order to get 1.866Gbps of bandwidth with lowest possible latency.
While the earlier available X99S Gaming 9 AC motherboard was based on Intel's Gigabit Ethernet, the X99S Gaming ACK features full Qualcomm's Killer lineup, including Killer E2205 Gigabit Ethernet and Killer 1525 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
The rest of the features are pretty much the same as on the X99S Gaming 9 AC, so you get support for quad-channel DDR4-3333 memory, SATA Express, Turbo M.2, Audio Boost 2, 4-way Nvidia and AMD CrossfireX support, bunch of USB 3.0 ports and pretty much everything else you would expect on a high-end motherboard.
Unfortunately, MSI did not reveal any details regarding the price or the availability date but did note that the motherboard will be officially announced later this month.
