US $299 priced 3D printer hits KickStarter

The iBox Nano by iBox Printers

A company called the iBox Printers launched a KickStarter campaign to offer an opportunity to get a 3D printer at a rather affordable US $299 price tag.

The 3D printer market is definitely on the rise and since their price is still steep, it is still not possible to get a device without spending less than US $700, at least not until now.

The steep price is exactly why the iBox Printers launched the iBox Nano project on KickStarter. The iBox Nano is a 3D printer that allows you to create small models from resin on a surface of 40 x 20 x 90mm. This is not enough to build a real size car, but enough for some products and creative users.

In order for the KickStarter campaign to be successful, the pledge has to reach US $300.000 within 10 days. Currently, the pledge amount stands at just over US $260.000 and if the goal is reach, a new small 3D printer will arrive to its first buyers in early 2015.
