Lucca Comics & Games 2014

A small report

Last weekend we were guests at the booth of AK Informatica and PC Hunter at the annual Lucca Comics & Games event. Throughout the event have been recorded a total of 400,000 guests.

At the couple of halls, where the Lucca Comics & Games event was held, there were many brands, shops and of course games. Inside the stand of AK Informatica, placed in Carducci's Hall near to Kingston and Cooler Master, it was possible to buy computer parts as well as to play Assetto Corsa game on a triple-monitor configuration.

During Saturday, we spent several hours inside the stand and we finally met some famous Italian Youtubers like SglepBoys, NLG Team HyperTube Gaming, Fntsmn and Legolastef90. Of course, there were also Kurolilly and LadyR3venge, two gamers that you can follow on the popular streaming site of Twitch. During the day, there have been proposed many activities to entertain the audience next to the stand where good and talented Youtubers, helped by the staff of AK Informatica, explained exhaustively how to assemble a gaming rig, showing a step by step procedure on how to properly place the components inside a PC case.

During this activity, a gaming rig was assembled which was based on the CM Storm Stryker case with an MSI Z97 Gaming 9 AC motherboard combined with Intel's Core i7-4790K CPU and 16GB of Avexir RAM. As far as the GPU is concerned, the system was equipped with an MSI GTX 980 Gaming graphics card powered by a Cooler Master V700 PSU. The processor was cooled down by a water cooling system signed by Cooler Master.

Congratulations to all the staff from AK Informatica, PC Hunter as well as all the various sponsors and partners for this amazing weekend. You can check out some pictures from the event below and you can find the full gallery on our Facebook page.
