Thermaltake unveil new ToughPower PSUs

New Toughpower and Toughpower Grand models

Thermaltake has updated its line of Toughpower power supplies by adding quite a few new models that will be a part of both its Toughpower as well as the Toughpower Grand lineup. As of today, Toughpower Gold and the Toughpower Grand lineups will be able to provide over 1000W of power.


Thermaltake has unveiled its latest Toughpower Gold and Toughpower Grand PSUs with different models that will now reach more than 1000W and feature na 80PLUS Gold certification.

The Toughpower 1000W, 1200W and the 1500W Gold are semi-modular PSU models equipped with two +12V rails and cooled by 135 mm fan (1700RPM). Measuring at 86 x 150 x 220mm these are certainly designed by CWT.

The Toughpower Grand 1050W and 1200W models are fully-modular PSU units equipped with a single +12V rail and cooled by a 140 mm fan. Their dimensions are 86 x 150 x 180mm and their design is more aesthetic. These models are also certainly using the CWT design.

Unfortunately, Thermaltake did not yet unveil the prices or the precise availability date for these new models but we will certainly keep an eye on them.
