Those that have downloaded Microsoft's Windows 10 Technical Preview will be definitely happy to hear that Microsoft has rolled out its first update, bringing nearly 7,000 new improvements, changes and bug fixes.
Those early birds that have downloaded the first release of the Windows 10 Technical Preview might want to check out the update tab as Microsoft has released a new update that push the Windows 10 Technical Preview from Build 9841 to Build 9860, bringing promised new features, bug fixes and improvements.
The biggest update is probably the new Action Center, which has been taken from Windows Phone 8.1 and which now lists incoming messages, status updates, emails, calendar events and pretty much everything that you might need. Microsoft has also improved virtual desktop functionality by adding a new animation while switching between desktops as well as adding a new keyboard shortcut (Windows key + Shift + arrow key) in order to ease up movement of the apps between multiple screens.
The new Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860 also adds a couple of options in the Preview Builds menu that allows you to adjust how frequently you will see updates. There are plenty of other minor improvements as well as a bunch of other bug fixes that you can check out over at
the Windows Blog.
The new update should be downloaded automatically, depending on your download settings, but in case you did not see it yet, you might want to check out the Update and Recovery menu and Windows Update in the PC Settings tab.
