ASRock has announced that its OC Formula series motherboards, the X99 OC Formula and the Z97 OC Formula have broken quite a few overclocking records in the hands of a couple of well known overclockers, Nick Shih, John Lam and 8Pack.

Couple weeks ago, Nick Shih overclock an Intel Core i7-5960X Haswell-E CPU on ASRock X99 OC Formula to a rather stunning 6620.73MHz and John Lam ran the same configuration in order to break Intel Extreme Tuning Utility (XTU) record by getting 2950 marks.

Overclocker 8Pack had some fun with ASRock's Z97 OC Formula motherboard paired up with Geforce GTX 980 graphics card and managed to score 57742 in 3DMark06 and 75123 in 3DMark05.
