A well known German company in the world of water cooling, Aqua Computer, has unveiled a series of full-cover water blocks aimed to be used with the reference GTX 980, the Kryographics GTX 980.
Aqua Computer definitely wants to benefit from the quite high demand for NVIDIA's Maxwell-based GTX 980 by introducing a new series of full-cover water blocks.
The Kryographics GTX 980 series is a full-cover design and thus will cool both the GPU, memory chips as well as the VRM part of the graphics card. The new water block series will be first available with a copper block while the nickel-plated version will follow quickly. As far as the top of the water block is concerned, there will be multiple choices, simple, acrylic or stainless steel. Two backplates are also on available, a simple passive and another one with an active dissipation system (heat pipes).
The Aqua Computer Kryographics GTX 980 series should already be available with a price set at 89.90€, 99.90€ or 109.90€, depending on the model. The backplates will set you back 24.90€ for the simple model and 39.90€ for the active one.
