Samsung has now officially launched its flagship Galaxy Note 4 phablet at a "Galaxy Note 4 World Tour" held in Seoul, where it has also detailed the worldwide availability for the device.
To be available in South Korea as of September 26th with a price set at around US $920 for a SIM-free version, Samsung's flagship phablet will be heading to the US on AT&T and T-Mobile on October 14th while the rest of the world, or precisely, 140 countries all around the world, will get it by the end of October.
In case you somehow managed to miss it, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 packs a 5.7-inch QHD 2560x1444 (which adds up to 515ppi) Super AMOLED touchscreen placed behind 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset with LTE Cat. 6 support or the Exynos 5433 chipset with LTE Cat. 4 support, depending on the region, paired up with 3GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card slot.
The rest of the features and specifications include a 16-megapixel rear and a 3.7-megapixel front camera, 3,220mAh battery, new S-Pen and bunch of other new features.
Samsung actually moved the launch date forward in order to ease some pressure from Apple's recent launch of the iPhone 6 and, more importantly the iPhone 6 Plus, but judging from recently reported problems with the iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung does not have a lot to worry about.
