Reference GTX 980 and GTX 970 pictured in details

Full gallery with all the details

Just a day before the official launch of Nvidia's new GM204 Maxwell based Geforce GTX 980 and Geforce GTX 970 graphics cards we now have a full gallery of pictures that show a reference versions of both graphics cards in full details.

Courtesy of Videocardz.com, the gallery not only shows full details regarding the reference Geforce GTX 980, which we already had a chance to see, but also shows the reference Geforce GTX 970 for the first time. Although not many will actually use the reference GTX 970 design as Nvidia gave a green light to its partners for custom designs from day one, it is still nice to see how Nvidia wanted it to look.

The full set of pictures show the Geforce GTX 980 in its all glory, including the packed PCB, the cooler as well as the new backplate, something that was not, until now at least, a standard on reference graphic card versions.

In case you missed it earlier, both the Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce GTX 970 are expected to launch early tomorrow morning at Nvidia's earlier scheduled Game24 event.

You can check out the rest of the pictures at the link below.
