Logitech unveils a new mechanical keyboard

With Romer-G mechanical switches

Some years ago, Logitech introduced a mechanical gaming keyboard called the G710 and, today, after a long time the company announced a new model based on the Romer-G switches.

Logitech has announced its new G910 Orion Spark RGB, a mechanical keyboard equipped with the exclusive Romer-G switches that can offer up to 25% more speed than traditional mechanical switches.

The switches inside the Orion Spark combine speed, precision and better backlight. The Romer-G require a stroke of 1.5mm and are able to withstand pressure of up to 70 million keystrokes, which is approximately 40 percent more any the other switches on the market. The RGB backlight can be adjusted individually and is available in 16.8 million colors. The keyboard also features programmable G-keys arranged outside of the standard layout of the keyboard. The Logitech G910 Orion Spark is compatible with the new Arx Contol app that will allow you to use your iOS or Android smartphone to control the main performance stats, as well as the volume and media control of your computer.

The price of the Orion Spark will be set at US $179.99 and it will be available in Europe and America as of November 2014.
