EKWB announces AMD FirePro W9100 water block

The EK-FCW9100 full-cover water block

EK Water Blocks has announced the first dedicated liquid cooling solution for AMD's latest FirePro W9100 series professional CAD/CAM graphics cards, the EK-FCW9100.

As it was the case with the water blocks for consumer grade graphics cards, the EK-FCW9100 is also a full cover design water block which means it directly cools the GPU, memory and the VRM (Voltage Regulation Module) part of the graphics card. It is also based on a high flow design making it suitable even for liquid cooling systems with a weaker pump.

The base of the EC-FCW9100 water block is made of C110 grade electrolytic copper while the top is made of laser cut stainless steel metal plate that doubles up as an I/O bracket. The sealing uses quality NBR rubber washers and it features screw-in standoff design.

According to EK Water Blocks, due to a very slim design of the EK-FCW9100, up to seven of these water blocks can be used on a single ATX motherboard and can be interconnected via FC Terminal. The single-slot also allows the computing power to be doubled up compared to the standard reference cooling solution.

The new EK-FCW9100 full-cover water block is currently already available with an MSRP of €124.95 (inc. VAT) and can be found over at EK Webshop or via its Partner Reseller Network.
