The new In-Home Streaming function was rapidly added to the last Steam version, but unfortunately it didn’t work right on every system. Today, Valve released a new version of its gaming client, that should fix this issue.
Thanks to the In-Home Streaming, the user is able to stream its library to another PC, if it’s connected to the same home network. This function is available for Windows users, but not for those using GNU/Linux systems.
Valve finally fixed the issue, re leasing a new Steam version. Thanks to the update, they also added compatiblity between AMD H79xx 295x, R9 290(x), R9 280(x), R9 270(x), R9 265, R7 260(x) and R7 250(x), and VCE coding system, and D3D titles. As far as Nvidia is concerned, Steam is now compatible with ShadowPlay.
Last but not least, Valve release the Beta version of Steam Music, that allows the user to find songs into the Steam catalogue, to create playlists that can be saved for future use, and they added many fixes to the UI.
