SilverStone presents a 600W SFX power supply unit

With 80 Plus Gold certification

SilverStone already tried to bring high-quality SFX PSU on the market, and they had a decent success. This time they are presenting a little beast with 600W of power and an 80 Plus Gold certification.

It's unusual to see SFX PSU with this kind of power and quality, since getting the certification is not cheap at all. SilverStone is trying to revert this trend, and it's doing it with the new SX600-G, an power supply unit with 600W of power and an 80 Plus Gold certification.

The PSU measures 125x100x63.5mm, it features a single 12V rail which is cooled down by an 80mm fan. This fan won't start if the system doesn't draw more than 120W of power, which is pretty good if you are planning an high-end SFF rig or an HTPC.

Just a few days ago we showed you the new Lian Li PC-Q19, and it looks like this PSU is born to be into that case. It will be available from 8th September for 108.50€ plus taxes: apparently they didn't shrink the price.
