After a long quiet period, AMD returns with an interesting news regarding the price of certain FX CPUs. The company plans a huge price cut in order to compete with Intel's CPUs.
Starting from September 1st, AMD will lower the price of the most recent FX-9590 down to US $175 (US$ 50 less than the current price), thus leveling it, price wise, with the Intel Core i5-4690K. At the same time, the company plans to introduce two new 8-core models with 95W TDP.
AMD's FX-9590 is not the only CPU which will get a price cut as AMD will also slash a price on the FX-6300 as well, pulling it from US $80 down to US $70.
