Next Battlfield 4 update brings massive improvements

Core gameplay improvements

According to EA/DICE, the next Battlefield 4 update, coming in September, will bring some core gameplay improvements.

DICE has revealed this week that the new update for September will bring tweaked soldier movement in the game in order to "closely match the one in Battlefield 3 but with compromising the visual fidelity." DICE has noted that this will improve the gameplay and will allow user to easier escape "undesirable firefights." The new update will also clean up to HUD in order to "only show what is important" and also have certain "Netcode" improvements.

According to the same post in the Battlefield Blog, the new update will also feature better vehicle and weapon balance as well as include improvements to the Rush, Obliteration, Obliteration Competitive, Capture the Flag and Carrier Assault game modes.

In case you missed it earlier, you still have a chance to try out Battlefield 4 for free thanks to EA's Origin Free Time program.
