Part of the "On The House" program
Electronic Arts' Origin has continued its "On The House" program and the free game for this month is the Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger, a game that has been quite popular back in the day and was designed by Chris Roberts, the same guy which is behind the Star Citizen game.
Developed by Origin Systems and designed by Chris Roberts, the Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger showed up in 1994 on MS-DOS and Mac systems and included some big names from Hollywood including Malcolm McDowell and Mark Hamill.
The game previously cost US $4.99 on Origin but will now be a part of Origin's "On The House" campaign and be free on Windows PC until 2nd of September.
The Chris Roberts name is quite popular these days as it is the same guy that is behind the new Star Citizen game which managed to raise over US $49 million in crowd funding.
EA started its "On The House" program in March with Dead Space and biggest title so far was Battlefield 3.
