Cooler Master updated its whole PSU lineup, to ensure they are in compliance with the new european laws about 80PLUS Certification. Furthermore, they created a new series based on the V Series, but with modular cables.
The Cooler Master V Series had a great success, and that's the reason why the company created the VSM Series, with semi-modular cables. The new lineup features a first 750W model.
Thanks to its reduced size (140mm depth) it can be easily featured into an HTPC system. It has a single 12V rail, with ATX, CPU and PCIe fixed cables, while you can add 4 SATA/Molex cables. It's already available for 92.35Euros, with a 80PLUS Gold certification, compliant with the most recent european laws about power supply units.
Cooler Master announced that the whole PSU lineup is already compliant with the new laws, and that in most cases it was easy to do that, while the B Series had to be complitely redesigned, simply featuring the name "B ver. 2", that should be ready for the market during August, in the same timeframe as the whole lineup of supply units.
