Valve's living room push, known as the Steam Machines, which will launch together with the Steam Controller, will not be available before next year, but it appears that Valve is still working on a final version of the controller and the latest prototype has been pictured with an analog stick on its left side.
The analog stick replaced a set of four directional buttons and aims to fix the steep learning curve on circular track pads, something that a lot of people were complaining about the earlier prototype. The new prototype still has both left and right track pads, four letter buttons, bumpers, triggers and various other buttons.
Of course, we are still far away from the official launch of the Steam Machines and Steam Controller so Valve might change the prototype in future but for now, this one is their latest.
