The internal presentation for Nvidia's upcoming 8-inch Shield Tablet has been leaked online showing all the details regarding the new tablet, including specifications, availability dates and the price.

Leaked slides came from Videocardz.com confirm that we will be looking at an 8-inch 1920x1200 IPS LCD screen tablet powered by Nvidia's Tegra K1 SoC with 192-core Kepler GPU, 2.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A15 based CPU and 2GB of RAM. The Shield Tablet will also feature a stylus with DirectStylus 2 with 3D Paint technology.

The rest of the specifications includes front facing stereo speakers with dual bass reflex port, 16GB (WiFi-only version) or 32GB (WiFi+LTE version) of storage space expandable via microSD card slot, front 5-megapixel HDR and rear 5-megapixel auto-focus HDR cameras, 802.11abgn 2x2 MIMO (2.4GHz and 5GHz) WiFi as well as Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/GLONASS and 9-axis motion sensors with g-sensor, compass and gyro.

As you could have seen from the specification list, the Nvidia Shield Tablet will be available in two versions, 32GB LTE with micro-SIM slot and 16GB WiFi-only version. The precise dimensions of the tablet are set at 221x126x9.2mm and it weighs 390g. It will be available with a new Shield Wireless controller which uses WiFi Direct connectivity and promises much lower latency when compared to similar controllers. Nvidia will also offer the Shield Cover for its new tablet.

According to the leaked slides, the new 8-inch Nvidia Shield Tablet will be available in the US and Canada as of July 29th, Europe should get it on August 14th while more regions should follow later. The price of the Shield Tablet itself is set at US $299 for the 16GB WiFi-only version and US $399 for the 32GB LTE version, while the new Shield Controller will be priced at US $59 and the Shield Cover will be priced at US $39.
