During the last few years Creative pushed really hard on its headset lineup, the Sound Blaster. With the new SB Inferno, they are targeting the gaming market, but thanks to an aggressive pricing, you won’t have to empty your pocket to buy them.

The new SB Inferno is a gaming headset unveiled by Creative with a very competitive price. Let’s see what they got.

The headset is made out of plastic, while there are two 40mm driver which operates between 20Hz and 20KHz, with 32 Ohm of impedence. They feature a flexible but non removable microphone, with in-line buttons to regulate volumes and switch on and off the microphone. The cable ends with a 4 pole jack, but you can split it in two 3.5mm jacks with the adapter you can find in the bundle.

The plastic, along with the soft padding used to ensure more comfort, doesn’t feel like high quality, so this headset could be something for casual gamer, not for those who wear headsets for many hours a day. But to be honest, for 49.99€ you couldn’t ask for anything more. The SB Inferno are available as today, 18th July, if you are interested in buying it.
