Palit releases new KalmX 0dB graphics card series

Starts with GTX 750 and GTX 750 Ti

Palit has announced its newest KalmX line of passively cooled graphics cards. The new series will start with Geforce GTX 750 and the Geforce GTX 750 Ti graphics cards and hopefully we will see more in future.

Based on Nvidia's Maxwell architecture, known for its exceptional power efficiency, the GTX 750 and the GTX 750 Ti were perfect candidates for passive cooling and Palit's new KalmX graphics card series.

Both cards will stick to their reference clocks and use the same passive cooler. The GTX 750 Ti KalmX packs 640 CUDA cores and works at 1020MHz base and 1185MHz GPU Boost clock and packs 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at 5.5GHz and paired up with a 128-bit memory interface. The Palit GTX 750 KalmX packs 512 CUDA cores and works at the same 1020MHz base and 1185MHz GPU Boost clock and packs 2GB of GDDR5 memory clocked at slightly lower 5010MHz and paired up with the same 128-bit memory interface.

As noted, both KalmX series graphics cards use the same passive cooler with copper base which is connected to a rather large heatsink via two copper nickel plated heatpipes.

Unfortunately, Palit did not reveal any details regarding the actual availability and the price of then KalmX series graphics cards.
