Intel has already earlier announced its plans to discontinue a large number of Ivy Bridge CPUs and has now also confirmed that several supporting chipsets will be also EOLed. In addition to the LGA 1155 chipset, Intel also plans to discontinue more Ivy Bridge mobile CPUs as well.
According to the Intel product change notification list, Intel's LGA1155 desktop chipsets, including the Z77, H77, Z75 and the Q75 will be discontinued in 2015. The aforementioned chipsets will be available for order until January 23rd next year and will continue shipping until July 10th.
In addition to the LGA1155 chipset, Intel has also included seven Ivy Bridge based mobile CPUs including the Celeron 1020M, 1005M, 1000M, 1037U, 1017U, 1007U and the 1019Y, which will be discontinued in the same time frame as the LGA1155 desktop chipsets.
