While its biggest thing might be the Borderlands franchise, Gearbox has now announced its new big game, the Battleborn.


Described by Gearbox as a next-gen hero-shooter with co-op multiplayer which combines fast-paced first-person gameplay with strategic team-based elements of games like League of Legends and Dota 2. According to the official trailer, which you can check out below, and an exclusive preview done by GameInformer, the Battleborn looks really interesting.

There is still a lot of unknown details regarding the game but according to these first informations, you will be able to pick from a decent list of heroes and fight together in a co-op multiplayer.

The date for the launch is still unknown but the GameInformer's preview suggest that the game will be released for the PC and next-gen consoles. We will surely keep an eye on this one in future.
