Lian Li unveils two aluminum PC cases

The B is silent

Today Lian Li released two brushed aluminum cases, the PC-B16 and the PC-A61. Both cases features the same internal space, but the B16 is more silence-oriented. To ensure the maximum flexibility, Lian Li features these 2 PC cases with removable HDD cages and modular 5.25” cages.

Both cases features tool-less mounting systems, and can fit up to 6 drives, 2.5” or 3.5” formats, but if you aim for the best airflow, you can remove the whole cage just twisting a couple of thumb-screws, and you can mount a 2.5” drive behind the motherboard tray.

Internal space for both these cases is great: they can fit CPU coolers as high as 170mm, PSUs as long as 280mm, GPUs up to 420mm, and both of them have 30mm of space between the motherboard tray and the right side panel, to allow you a neat cable management. The I/O panel, hidden behind a stealth cover, is on top of the case, and it features 4 USB 3.0 ports and HD audio connectors.

As far as water cooling is concerned, they both can fit 240/280mm radiators on top, and 240mm radiator on the front panel, and of course they can fit every AIO system on the market.

The B16 features a sound-proofing material on both side panels, on the top panel and inside the lockable front door, to ensure the best performance with the lowest noise possible.

Lian Li already stated the prices for these 2 cases: to be available in June, the B16 will cost 239$, while the A61 will cost 199$.
