Polk Audio is an American company on the market for quality headsets and speakers from 1972. A few years ago, they had a partnership with Microsoft, and they created two gaming headset to be used with Xbox 360, the 4 Shot and the Melee. Today, they announced another partnership, to create an Xbox One compatible headset, the Polk Audio Striker.
Polk Audio presented their new Striker gaming headset during the E3 2014. Is there a better place, to present a gaming audio solution, than the biggest videogame show in the world?
The new Striker features a retractable microphone and quality speakers. We do not have the official specifications yet, but based on the older models, we can at least expect 40mm drivers, with 20-20000Hz frequency range and 20Ohm impedance. They will be Xbox One compatible, either in wireless mode or plugged into the gamepad, while PC gamers will have standard audio jacks.
The Striker will be available in 3 different colors: black, gray/blue and black/orange, and they will be released on October with a US $89 price tag.
