Finally today I put everything inside the AIR 240 that is in my room from well too much. With 780 I had the issue that wasn't compatible due to the height of the card, but now with the 980G1 is all good. Despite the full set of pictures, it's still not ended because I have to add few fans but..not today Put inside the 980G1 with a rad on front is like play to tetris

I decided to create another thread because the other one was too messy with wrong pics..it's locked now

Intel i7-5820K
Gigabyte X99M Gaming 5
Gigabyte GTX980 G1
Corsair 4x4 2800 LPX
Corsair H100i + 2x EKWB Vardar 120ER
Samsung XP941 + Crucial M500

EKWB Vardar are a good surprise, back in the years I had few GT and honestly the Vardar are much better. The "ER" models (Extended Range) are even better since the duty cycle is from 25 to 100%, while on not-ER is from 40 to 100. So, basically, despite the max rpm is set to 2200rpm they can be very silent. This is my profile on my mobo..yes quite aggressive but also very silent in daily usage (working).

In my opinion, you need fans on the top, to cool the VGA.

Like I said, no problem at all with temps. I will add the small scythe just for be sure..but no need more fans or so. Even the 5820K it's pretty cool but thanks for your suggestion

Compared to the Performance Desktop CPUs, the HEDT models have proper TIM, which really helps with temps.

Ah, I have added two slim fans..honestly there aren't huge difference like I said. 3-4C in load on GPU
