Hey guys
Having switched from AMD to nVidia, I've decided to play more games
(Mainly because I can crank the settings now
)
I'm not a pro reviewer or anything like that, so this is more a small personal side project. I'd like to Be able to capture what FPS I am getting in my games and then post my results up here for anyone to have a look at
Does anyone know of a program I can use that will record the FPS and give me min/max/avg frame rates?
My setup for all games will be the same.
i7 3930k @ 4.5GHz on a RIVE
16gb ram @ 1066Mhz 9-11-10
2 x Asus GTX 780 DirectCU II OC's in SLi (Running stock unless otherwise requested)
Intel 330 series 180GB SSD as OS drive.
Seagate Barracuda 7200.12, 7200rpm, 16MB, 500GB drive as games drive.
Corsair AX850 PSU
Dell U2711 Monitor (2560x1440 resolution)
As you can see, I have a nice big monitor, driving modern games on that thing is hard!!!
Hopefully people can get some useful information out of this little side project.
I also have a Dell U2412M (1920x1200) That I can use. If anyone would like a specific combination, ie: no SLi and 1920x1080, etc, then feel free to ask and I will try to accommodate. Ofcourse, for now I am limited to that hardware combination. I have a Very extensive games list on Steam, so feel free to request games
On steam I am Ryanbean (feel free to add me)
I need to find some software for FPS capture to start with. After that I can more than likely do one to two games a night, but not every night of course
Thanks for reading, thanks for participating
Bean
Edit: Ram frequency lowered to 1066mhz for stability.
