Hab heute mit Odin 3 v3.04 ne Frimware geflasht, läuft nun wieder, nur hab ich das Problem das es eine für die deutsche Telekomm war, muss nun eine für Orange suchen.

RAWR!!!
Ok.. so I'm a bit drunk, but have still managed to run some benchies... The 940BE was at about 3.7ghz for the test runs, 6990 installed. We ran the inbuilt benchmark that comes with DiRT Showdown. Results will be published tomorrow, as Marc is too lazy to set up the second rig this evening. as a precursor, in the benchmark, we had a rouch average of about 63fps....

Also, pics of the beastly DFi and 940BE have beautiful intercourse with the 6990, whilst watching Beer pr0n

Btw ... can you run some VGA benches ... like for instance Unigine Heaven at max resolutions, max details and then the same thing at low resolutions and low details?I would prepare a setup here with a 6990 in it and a quicker CPU and then we could see how much potential of the card is being wasted.

Yeah, that sounds like a pretty good idea
Would be nice to see how efficient that old Quadcore is

I had 940BE on M2N32SLI, then 955BE as well as 960T @ X6

Yeah, not the easiest thing, it's quite touchy

Re: Bean's Air fred #7
Ladies!!!
I'm kinda half ways back...
I've just gone and got my old AMD system back up and running.
As I kinda need my main pc, and Marc is too stingy to give me a system to use, I will go back to overclocking my old system before I put it together properly for a friend of mine (Here's to hoping I burn it out before I give it away )
So... Sys specs..
It's a Phenom II 940 Black Edition on a DFI LANParty JR 790GX-M2RS (mATX board), with 2x2gb GeIL Black Dragon DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-12 ram. There's a Sapphire 4890 Vapor-X in there all running off of a Corsair TX-650 PSU. I sold this system to a mate a few years ago, and he recently gave it back to me. I'm in the process of building it up for a really good friend of mine as an Entry level gaming pc (LoL, CounterStrike etc) and aim to throw a 6990 in it (kindly donated by Marc ).

So.. stock, it sits at 3ghz, I seem to recall at some point having it up to about 4ghz.. This will be what I aim for. Cooling this prehistoric beast will be a trusty Noctua NH-C14.

So far I have installed windoze, and nothing else. The cpu is sitting at 3.6ghz and seems fine. I think it's time to have some fun
