OEM seems to be Delta Electronics

That's the first time I see a PSU's back PCB as clear and neat as this one.

Aw: Antec High Current Pro 1000 Platinum #4
Yes a super PCB design. Not only looks very nice optically its also electrically point of view very good. Delta really improved from the HCP-850W.

I can't imagine that this is kind of a successor to the HCP 850. This one must be a completely other development.

Its the other way around

The 1000 watts came first and then 1½ later the 850 watts which is the 1000 watts improved

Hmm this kinda surprises me. However the 1000W is very clean and nice and the 850W basically a mess :-).
