Fractal Design power supplies information thread #1
As the name says this is the Fractal Design power supplies information thread

Why would i do a thread like this you might ask?

Well the answer to this is that many of you out there may know these or have looked at it and passed it over for one reason or another

The Fractal Design Tesla R2 and Newton R3 are some of the most overlooked units

So lets jump into it

First off we have the Integra R2
This unit is made by HEC and is a 80 plus bronze non modular and this unit is not very good so this is NOT recommended to buy you can find better around the same price point

Moving on to the next one in their lineup the Tesla R2

This unit is made by ATNG and is a 80 plus gold rated non modular PSU and is a sort of middle of the road value unit from Fractal Design

So if these units are so good how come i never heard of them you might ask?

The answer to that is not something that is easy to answer you might not have looked around enough or they are not available country

Newegg only has the 600 watts version of the Newton R3 and they sell it way overpriced

To finish this off i am telling you that the Tesla R2 and Newton R3 are very good and dont pass them over if you see them

Hi shilka and Welcome

Yes Fractal has some nice PSUs.
We did review the Newton R3 Platinum 600W.
Afaik fractal discontinued the R3 (<-- needs confirmation).

However PSUs from "little" brands are often only limited available and often also relatively high priced.
Sometimes its also a lot of Marketing involved. For ex: I don't understand Super Flower (big Fish in market) to not fully release the Leadex platinum worldwide.

Yep they're not even on ebay. We also only have the 1000W plat atm. Review should be released within the next few days.

Its similar to the EVGA but with cheaper components. I think the EVGA is based on the Leadex gold 1000 <-- can't confirm since we have only the Leadex 1000W plat atm.
