Following the recent release of the Komodo-NV LE (Luxury Edition) water block aimed to be used with Nvidia's GTX Titan, Titan Black, GTX 780 and the GTX 780 Ti reference design graphics cards, Swiftech has now also released the new Komodo-R9 LE (Luxury Edition) water block for reference design AMD Radeon R9 290X and the R9 290 graphics cards.


Based on a full-cover water block design, which covers the entire PCB, the Swiftech Komodo-R9 LE water block cools the GPU, memory as well as the VRM part in order to achieve maximum overclocking stability. It also comes with a brushed aluminum backplate which should enhance the overall rigidity of the graphics card as well as cool the backside MOSFETs, leaving no components of the graphics card exposed.

Just as it was case with the Komodo-NV LE, the Kododo-R9 LE also comes with interchangeable color strips which light up the coolant window and front logo plate in four different colors, Green (which ships with cooler), Red, Blue or Clear.

The new Komodo-R9 LE water block should be available immediately with a suggested retail price of US $179.95.
