Sharkoon has announced its newest WPM V2 series power supply units which are the successor of Sharkoon's popular WPM PSUs and comes with an efficiency of over 80 per cent and will be available in 400, 500, 600 and 700W versions.


The new WPM V2 series of PSUs from Sharkoon will be compliant with ATX v2.3 standard and feature a revised modular cable management system which now offers two PCI-Express 6+2-pin power cables. The WPM V2 will also include a 700W version, while the previous WPM series was only available with up to 600W.

It also comes with a cable with three 4-pin peripheral connectors, a cable with two 4-pin peripheral connectors, a floppy as well as two SATA cables. This will allow users more freedom in using only the connectors that they need in order to keep maximum possible order with cable management and improve internal airflow, according to Sharkoon.

The entire WPM V2 series will be cooled by a single bottom-placed 140mm fan with low speed and feature a standby power consumption of 0.3W.

According to Sharkoon, the entire new WPM V2 series should be already available with a retail price starting at €39.99.
