With Core i7 CPU and GTX 1080 GPU

Razer has unveiled its newest Blade Pro gaming notebook at an event in Berlin, packing some high-end hardware in a 17.3-inch notebook chassis.

Teased earlier by Razer in its Unveil the Shadow teaser, the new Razer Blade Pro gaming notebook is a 17.3-inch beast, packing plenty of high-end hardware, high-resolution screen, RAID PCIe SSD storage and full mechanical keyboard in a 22.5mm-thick notebook chassis.

The precise dimensions of the Razer Blade Pro are set at 424 x 281 x 22.5mm (WxDxH) and it weighs 3.54kg, which is quite compact for a 17.3-inch gaming notebook. The design is similar to previous Razer notebooks and you get CNC aluminum unibody chassis with side cooling and a mechanical keyboard with integrated big glass trackpad instead of the numpad.

As noted, Razer managed to squeeze in some high-end hardware inside its Blade Pro gaming notebook which starts with Intel's quad-core Core i7-6700HQ Skylake CPU with Hyper-Threading, 6MB of L3 cache and 2.6/3.5GHz clocks. In order to deal with high 3840x2160 resolution of the 17.3-inch IGZO G-Sync enabled touch-screen, Razer squeezed in Nvidia's GTX 1080 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5X VRAM.

The rest of the specifications include 32GB of dual-channel DDR4-2133 memory, 512GB, 1TB or 2TB of PCIe M.2 SSD storage in RAID 0, Killer DoubleShot Pro networking with Killer Wireless-AC 1525 and Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI 2.0 output, 2.0M webcam, stereo speakers and array microphone as well as a compact 250W power adapter to charge the 99Wh battery.

The Razer Pro also features a special mechanical keyboard with 16.8 million backlight color options, powered by Razer Chroma, support for Razer Synapse with programmable keyboard, trackpad, backlighting and fan control and it comes with Windows 10 64-bit OS.

Such high-end hardware and premium quality usually comes with a high price tag sso Razer Blade Pro gaming notebook is not an exception either as it will come in November with a price starting at US $3,699/€4,199/£3,499.
